Cultural Events:

Munich by royal appointment

How did the royals of Bavaria live? Where did they get their shoes fixed? What did they eat and drink?
Join us on a journey through the royal Munich. The Wittelsbach family reigned Bavaria for 850 years. This makes them the longest reigning Family in Europe. The capital of their empire was Munich and they shaped the town after their needs and pleasures. Discover all the shops, where the royals went shopping and enjoy a lunch at the Michelin Star restaurant of Dallmayrs, with some of the favorite dishes of remarkable Bavarian Kings and Dukes. Or visit with us the royal residence with their treasure chambers and festive rooms. What about a little wine tasting in the rooms of the residence at the Pfälzer Weinstube?

Bavaria, Beer and Kings (and Queens of course)

With a lot of action and fun, this tour is going to take you alongside of the royal lake Starnberg. Some of the most scenic castles are located on this lake. You will be picked up on a traditional Bavarian beer wagon drawn by horses. On different occasions our historians will give you a deeper inside of the Bavarian mentality, beer, royals and Bavarian slang. Some of the challenges on your way will involve the tapping of a beer barrel, Bavarian language test, "Fingerhackln competition" and a little historic parcour. You will relax after the action in one of the traditional Bavarian beer gardens, Bavarian restaurants or an 300 years old grange.

Bavarian Beer Tour ROYAL

Beer is one of the most prominent part of Bavarian life! Which beer you drink at what time of the day? Why do we brew after the Reinheitsgebot (purity law) from 1516. How does a modern brewery look from the inside? Was there beer before mankind? Experience a century old tradition of Munich - the beer brewing. Visit with us one of the traditional breweries now turned into 21 Century high-tech brewing. Accomany our historians through the Beer museum or the Oktoberfest museum. Participate in a beer tasting and learn from experts how to taste the different brewing methods and beer types.

The royal building of the Maximilianeum is nowadays used as parliament of Bavaria. For you - we open the gates!

Dine where Bavaria is reigned! Enjoy a dinner in the royal palace of the Maximilianeum. Either in the summer on the magnificent terrace overlooking the old city of Munich, or in the majestic ballroom. Enjoy a sunset, normally reserved for the royals!

Chaise the Phantom or Scotland Yard in Munich

"Tactical thinking, Watson, tactical thinking"
This could be the motto of this guided tour through Munich. You will chaise the phantom through Munich and by answering some tricky questions and with some help by our historians/guides) your team might win the trophy of the day. Enjoy some typical Bavarian specialties on the way (of course only if you can answer the question of the phantom) and discover a city in a different and exciting way. Team spirit, flexibility, strategically thinking and a good portion of luck will lead you to success. End the tour in a traditional Bavarian beer cellar, beer garden or restaurant, where the winning team will be rewarded and asked to help out the royal Munich Police services!

Culinary and traditional

Do you want to become a real Münchner?
This sighseeing tour will combine tradition, history and culinary highlights of Munich. A little competition will determine who is the "greatest Münchner" of your group. You will learn how to eat the traditional white sausage, which beer to drink to this, how "Auszogne" taste, and for the gourmets in your group we will visit the Munich equivalent Harrod's food halls: the Dallmayr gourmet paradise, where you will enjoy a cup of hot white chocolate, some petit fours and some fine pralines. This program can easily be modified and enlarged or shortened. Ask for a tailored program for your group!
